If I'm using my latin correctly. Politics comes from the latin roots "poly" meaning "many" and "ticktus" meaning "small annoying blood suckers."
How is it that the democrats are happy with their mascot?
How did that ever come to be? "Uh, ok all. We're a team here, we like to anger people with our views, any ideas on a mascot?" "How bout a donkey?!" "Brilliant, that'll show those fat elephants..."
A donkey!? They did pick that. It really does fit the description of SOME of the democrats I have met.
It is funny to me that when I come across a democrat they treat me as if I don't know what on earth is going on. As if they have a secret to all the problems and feel sorry for me that I don't understand.
Oh, and why is it that shooting for the underdog is a crime in politics!?
Do the debates really help anyone?
What about the "un-decided" people who ask the questions on those things? "Yes, Mr. McCain, why is it that the Bush Administration, which you supported all this time, seemed to fail the last 8 years? I'm just an unbiased, undecided future voter trying to figure everything out...:-/"
Politics in my opinion, to sum everything up thus far, is the once-every-four-year ploy to create competition amidst our "unified" country. Last time this went too far, the south became bitter for the rest of our lives, and decided that, who cares where you're from, sweet tea is something that only that particular southern individual knows exactly what it is.
I can't wait till November 6 when we all go back to not caring about our country again. (I gave a day for the nation to settle down from the election day)

Procrastination
I'm convinced. I truly am, that procrastination is the one thing that makes me more frustrated than someone seeking to stargaze downtown Chicago. I just don't know why I waste my time before getting into my studying? Is it because the subject matter is so boring? No, it's quite interesting subject matter. Instead of studying, I fiddle around with this "chatter blocker" software which is supposedly set up to give ambient noise in such a way as not to be disturbing but block out the talking around you, THUS giving a conducive audio environment for productive study. The only thing is, this program was obviously not built for someone with ADD, cause I'm sampling and listening to every single option trying to find the right one. Long story short, I finally find one that I like, and even now am wondering if it is the right one. Procrastination sucks, it really doe.... CRAP!! WHAT AM I DOING!
